Misochi LLC
These terms are the agreement between you and Misochi LLC for using Morning Report. They cover what you may do with the app, what we promise, and what we do not. How your data is handled is a separate document — see the Privacy Policy.
Morning Report is published by Misochi LLC, a California limited liability company ("Misochi," "we," "us"). Contact: kevin@misochi.com.
By installing or using Morning Report, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. There is no Misochi account to close — deleting the app ends the agreement.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Morning Report. The app is not directed to children under 13.
Morning Report assembles a single daily brief from sources you choose to connect: your calendar, your reminders, local weather, and — if you connect a Google account — a short summary of recent email. Every source is optional and individually controlled in Settings. Processing happens on your device; Misochi operates no server and receives none of this content.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Morning Report on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. This license is in addition to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, which also govern apps obtained through the App Store. Where those Apple terms conflict with these, Apple's terms control for matters they cover.
You may not: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except where that restriction is unenforceable by law; rent, lease, sublicense, or resell it; remove proprietary notices; or use it to build a competing product.
The app connects from your device to services operated by others. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, not ours, and we are not responsible for them:
gmail.readonly) under the Google Terms of Service. You remain responsible for your Google account, and you can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.If one of these services changes, restricts, or discontinues access, features of the app that depend on it may stop working.
Morning Report reformats information from other systems. It does not verify that information, and it can be wrong in ordinary ways: a calendar that has not synced, a forecast that changes, a reminder created after the brief was built, an email judged unimportant that mattered, or a background refresh that iOS chose not to run.
The brief is informational only. It is not a substitute for checking your calendar, your inbox, or an authoritative weather source, and you should not rely on it for any decision where being wrong carries real consequence — including travel, health, safety, financial, or legal decisions.
Morning Report is currently provided free of charge. If paid features are offered in the future, their price and terms will be disclosed at the point of purchase, and purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple under Apple's terms, including its refund policy.
Morning Report is in active development. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time, and we may stop supporting older versions or iOS releases. We are not obligated to provide updates, and we may end distribution of the app entirely.
The app, its name, its design, and its content are owned by Misochi LLC and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a license to use the app, not any ownership in it.
The data the app reads — your events, reminders, and mail — is yours. We claim no rights in it, and because it stays on your device, we never hold it.
You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these terms. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morning Report is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any brief will be accurate or complete.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Misochi LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed obligations, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — Morning Report, even if advised of the possibility.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the app will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) twenty-five US dollars (US$25).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for personal injury or for certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Misochi LLC from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your misuse of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws of your place of residence.
If these terms change, the effective date above changes and the revised terms are posted here. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continuing to use Morning Report after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Misochi LLC regarding Morning Report. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
